Schedule date (Eastern): 2026-04-16
— With no ?date= in the URL, this page opens to yesterday (Eastern). Use the arrows or calendar beside the heading to change days.
Home runs are counted from final games only, then saved in MySQL (mlb_api_cache) so the list stays available after the slate ends.
P(HR) rank matches homerun.php for that date (starters, sorted high → low). Ranks are frozen when the snapshot is written.
Each HR line adds pitcher who allowed the HR · H/A · D/N (from play-by-play; home or away; D = first pitch before 5:00 p.m. in the ballpark’s timezone, else N). If play-by-play is unavailable, the opposing starter from the box score is shown instead.
Last games under each name: up to 20 of that player’s most recent games played on or before this page’s date (same season); green = at least one HR in that game, empty box = game with no HR. Off days and team off days are omitted (not padded).
Schedule baseball/hr-history-cron.php (e.g. hourly) so days update as games finish without opening this page.
